Hedgewars

Addictive and funny free version of Worms.

Hedgewars is a version of the classic Worms where instead of worms we play with some likeable hedgehogs, that are as nutty as the worms were.

  The playing mechanism is that of the classic turn based strategy games, during which we will try to cause the maximum amount of damage possible to our enemies.

  We take control of a battalion of hedgehogs that, scene after scene, have to defeat their enemies and get more money and better weapons.

  As in Worms, the most enjoyable thing about the game is seeing how the hedgehogs manage the weaponry, even though we will have to have a lot of precaution with friendly fire.

  As the game advances, we will receive more effective and powerful weapons making our hedgehogs actions a lot deadlier (careful, both for our enemies and us, if we miscalculate).

  With some rather colorful graphics, Hedgewars is an open source multi-platform application.

  An entertaining game that fans of the classic Worms will love.
